Every time I see an EarthRoamer - I can't help but feel as if my vehicle is a member of the proletariat. Why? Because they're completely over the top in the best way possible. Of course I want a customizable living room, and dining room - inside my expedition vehicle. Sorry Ralph, you're great and all, but I think I'd rather travel around the world in a land yacht. The problem? EarthRoamers have always been a bit small, yes, that's the word I'm looking for, small. Luckily, they've just announced the EarthRoamer XV-HD, which makes the huge existing XV-LT look like a toy.
The XV-HD is based on the Ford F-650 platform - considered by some to be a trifecta of the big truck diesel world; Ford style, Allison transmission, and a Cummins engine. It's the perfect platform to create what simply must be the largest overland vehicle created in the United States. This puts EarthRoamer in direct competition with companies such as Action Mobil, known for their larger, high-quality, customizable builds; EarthRoamer, known for the same quality, should have no issues entering this market. There's 24 different options for length with three different truck-cab configurations. There's even an option to allow for a fifth-wheel attachment if you really need to tow something huge.
Between the ability to customize your vehicle virtually any way you'd like and the 46 inch tires, you won't be limited as to where you can go.
