One of the smaller tables makes more sense since I will probably end up carrying it in the rig.
I was going to measure the base of this morning before leaving for work, but I forgot, will do that when I get home.
Then I can match the foot print of it to one of your other tables.
The table mainly is only going to be for the chuckbox and preparing food on.

PS, if I remember right, my chuckbox is roughly 18" x 26", so that would be a little bigger than your small table, and the medium one at
Dimensions (Open) 33-1/2"L x 19-3/4"W x 24-3/4'H
Dimensions (Closed) 33-1/2”L x 19-3/4”W x 1-3/4”H
would work out with a little room off to the side for stuff while preparing food.

Yes, I would agree that the medium table make more sense too. The small table is a lower open height as well. More suitable as a campfire table than a kitchen table. Here is a photo of the three sizes together.

It would be a custom application, but the answer is yes. It will be very similar to the roof rack I have on my 5th Gen 4Runner. You would remove the OEM rack, drill the K9 Rack to match the mounting locations on your roof, add feet and the platform. Width would be 1250mm (50") and the length could be 1600mm (63"), 2000mm (79"), or 2200mm (87"). Pricing would range from $1145 - $1450, depending on size and foot count. Here are a couple photos of the 4Runners we have put K9 Racks on.



Notice on the Gen 3 rack, we used 6 feet (4 shown in photo, but it ended up with 6). On this application we drilled the roof and installed well nuts in front location of the rail to attach it to the roof. With front, middle and rear rail mounting locations 6 feet is plenty for this rack to support most any load. On my 5th Gen truck, you will see 10 feet. We tried something different on this install. I only used the 4 existing mounting locations, but used a longer 2000mm rail. That means there is 18" of rail in front of the front OEM mounting location on the roof. We installed a 2200mm platform on top, which puts 28" of rack forward of the front OEM mounting point. My theory is that I could cantilever the forward portion safely due to the substantial construction of the rearward majority of the rack. Similar in concept to a ladder rack on a pickup that extends over the cab. I have 6 feet mounted between the OEM mounts and a fully welded platform, all connected together and very ridged. There are 2 feet on top of the front OEM mounting location and 2 feet forward of it. The extra feet up front provide vertical support and the rear feet secure the rack to the roof. I did this on my own vehicle as a test, and it has worked out very well. I have carried an Eezi-Awn XKLUSIV, Series 2000 Awning, 2 Alu-Boxes, Shovel, Axe, and under rack table on the vehicle on extended off road trips without a problem or concern at all. I am comfortable with this application. But the choice is yours if you want to drill your roof or not. It is a bit more for the extra feet, but I have less holes in my roof.

Eezi-Awn K9 Racks do not offer a ski mount option, but there is a way to allow that. One of the great features of the rack is that the slots on the platform run front to back. There are 2 slots per slat, actually. So plenty of options there. What you can do, if you have Thule or Yakima sport bars and ski mounts already, is to get a set of towers that are designed for installation in a roof track and attach the sport bars and ski mounts (or bike or kayak mounts or anything for that matter) to the top of the K9 rack. All of your existing roof equipment is still useful. I will get some photos of what I am referring to here up as soon as I can.

Been needing something heavy duty for the chuckbox.

Hi Pierre,

Yes, there are several options available for the Tacoma. It depends on the configuration of the truck, double cab or extra cab.

Double Cab

For the double cab model, I would suggest using a 1250mm (50") wide platform 1400mm (55") long. It would be set up with a pair of 1400mm rail, drilled and mounted to the shell at your own preference. And I would use 4 feet to attach the platform to the rail. This could be used on the cab of the vehicle as well. The rail would be drilled to match the OEM locations if your truck has them, or you could use rubber wellnuts to attach the rail if you are not skiddish about drilling your roof. Here is a photo of Eezi-Awn's double cab Hilux with the double rack configuration. It would be the same on the Tacoma.



Extra Cab

With a little longer bed on this model, I would suggest installing a bit longer platform and rail. We will offer a 1250mm x 1600mm platfrom (50" x 63"), using 1600mm rail and 6 feet. Drill and mount the rail as necessary. I would suggest at least 3-4 locations on any rail. More if the rail is longer, but no more than 8 on any size. Sorry, I don't have a photo of this on a Tacoma. But it would be the same set up as the 5th Gen 4Runner we have shown in this thread earlier with the 1600mm platform.

Ah. I see what you are referring to. That is actually a part of that vehicle's bumper set. Eezi-Awn has bee working on ladders for the Defenders and the 70 Series Land Cruisers, that much I know. I haven't seen anything for other models yet, but I will let everyone know as soon as I know.

Paul, I forgot to post when I got the medium sized table from you.
It is very nice, light weight, and thin when folded.

This table will be for the chuckbox, and I am thinking of not using my Cabelas picnic table anymore, and picking up another one of these from you in the same size to use as a dining table.
The picnic table when folded up is around 33"x19", same as your medium table, but 4" thick.
Two of your tables at 1.75" thick each will take up less room than one of your tables and the picnic one.
Plus that picnic table is heavy.
