I forgot to account for my tent. And it seems to be coming back up. I should probably run a few more tanks before I quote my mileage.

Random pictures from recent trips.
Tacoma does ok for the most part,
hood is way to long to be able to see the obstacles, and ARB bumper is terrible, nothing absolutely nothing good to say about it,
Don’t ever consider to buy one of those bumpers, u will be throwing money away.

Anywhoo enjoy the pics.0C70487B-D197-42A0-901C-164312A259E7.jpegD29CAACD-8E77-4C9F-A761-6609CEDC3A97.jpegB239AEA8-0F59-4939-B7D9-513ADBD862DC.jpeg01838A31-F3E7-45E3-8573-12BBA4BC67D4.jpeg7B887B5E-135F-4809-BEE6-61B0BAD47339.jpeg85536A92-E7DC-495A-8603-310026A1C624.jpegBCCE9134-34E6-4984-961B-1CA8B07C241C.jpeg45A3880A-6E51-49AB-83C5-733BC1F35625.jpeg

In this next few pics are very interesting,

DEATH VALLEY IN THE MAKING,
So Death Valley floor is 9000 ft deep than what u see today, all the setements that erode from the mountains gets blown down to the valley and it’s builds up, valley floor is actually 9000 ft deep,

As u see from the pic how wind blows that fine sand particles and builds it up even more,
Death Valley is the most geologically active location on earth and valley is currently stretching as pacific plate of moving toward the ocean.

So that means I put a bull bar to protect my truck, but if I hit a dear my airbags pop off ?
Well screw that, I paid to get a heavy duty bumper for a reason.

It’s shakes like it’s attached with cardboard brackets, what kind of poor engendered bumper is that.

Weird comparison. A vehicle that came with 37s designed for hard use compared to a light duty truck. ARB is designed so you don't break all your teeth out in a head on collision. There are pros and cons to that. I like the pictures next to each other.

I understand what you mean, but you have to see to understand how bad it shakes and how much it sticks out.
of course I wasn’t comparing Hummers 90 degree approach angle to Tacoma, It was cool to see them at the same spot at different time of the day.

I personal don’t like any of the ARBs on any vehicles with airbags. The Tacoma one huge lol. Heard a lot about complaints of how it vibrates a lot. That’s partly arb but the Tacoma frame flex like no other lol.

I’m glad my arb on my 88 runner isn’t an issue. It solid mount

I had arb bumper on my 80 series cruiser, it was awesome.
But I guess we learned that airbag approved bumpers suck lol

It’s only approved because it’s been tested. Air bags don’t deploy based on crushing a sensor. It’s the g force reading/ sudden stop that makes them deploy so with any aftermarket bumpers. They will still deploy like normal. The biggest difference is the bumper won’t absorb the hit as well and more forces is passed into the passengers. I’m ok with this so I rather have a fixed hard mounted bumper than one that crumpled.
