In a moment of impulse buying at Menards I bought a 6x8 tarp and 2 Mr. LongArm poles. I was thinking that perhaps I could mount one side of the tarp on my jeep and just guy out 2 poles on the other end for a basic awning. I've seen several like this. Do they work well?
