Compelled to say thank you for your last set of photos..absolutely wonderful and real depiction of desert life..you have an eye for the obvious and oft overlooked..and talent to describe what the eye sees so nothing is overlooked.

    Yetti's moto kit- small

That's about all I carry..enough to stop bleeding.. I also use Kling instead of tape..easier to use doesn't deteriorate and doesn't contribute to allergies. Also carry a Sam's Splint..easy to fold and cut with trauma shears. It all boils down to ABC's. BTW thanks for being this up.

I thank you for the story and pictures of Wallace...your commentary of the local flavor is a big reason I follow you...I get to see and somewhat experience a part of the U.S. I will never see...and I love it...safe travels and a pat on the head to your companions.

Wisconsin to California and back in a 40hp 1966 VW Beetle

Please consider this an echo of others sentiments about your writing. Anyone who can make the ultimate boring trip across Nevada..on U.S. 50 yet..interesting deserve the platitudes you are receiving. Thanks.

Family of five, driving the world. Size ok?

FWI..suggest a teardrop type trailer with a RTT..solves your sleeping and eating logistics..frees your tow vehicle up for personal items as well as side trips. As stated before..weight is your biggest consideration.

registering a slide in as a rv in az

Best of my knowledge slide-in campers are not registered/licensed in Az..only your truck is. For more information google Arizona Dept of Motor Vehicles.

    Your opinion please.

Suggest doing a very close check on all the wiring..engine AND house..favorite snack for mice and pack rats..that rig may be especially vulnerable by sitting outside for all that time.

    My Journey

There's an old Arizona cliche and it can easily be applied to Sedona: "Stuffed shirts in the winter..stuffed shorts in the summer". Continued safe travels to you and your partners.

Pipe Calculator - Not the method of carrying/storing water you are considering but rather just another idea.

http://idahoptv.org/sciencetrek/topics/deserts/facts.cfm Because I've wondered as well..this article is rather elementary..then again at 75 that seems to be the way my mind works.
