I am Enduro’s neighbor in Los Osos and drop by the shop frequently to check out what they are building. They will be making their own version of a Maltec on a 200 series.

I would reconsider going with steel wheels unless you feel that you really need them. They will be heavier impacting MPG’s and will wear out front end components faster as well requiring more dampening due to more unsprung weight. I am running the 5 spoke toyota alloy rims (found on Facebook...

Interested to see what you come up with as I have a 2014 F250. The C channel frame behind the cabs flexes a lot on these trucks. You might want to look into spring mounting the flatbed or a 3 or 4 point mount for the flatbed. Just my two cents.

Out of curiosity how is the flat bed mounted? Is it just rigid mounted to the frame? Any issues in cross axle situations. Full disclosure I am only asking as I want to install a flat bed on my super duty. GLWS!
