Since had to replace the knuckle I asked if the springs I got for free could also be swapped in...
E-series frames have plenty of flex!
Park on very uneven land and the doors will rub and sometimes not open/close.
And then take a look at the bumpers to body.
Better yet, put one tire on a forklift, raise and watch the spaghetti wiggle.
I've experienced and seen this personally.
The first had 785,075 when it retired.
Second 7.3 had no issues @240k but was red and I was downsizing to an XJ.
Third 7.3 is my current rig. 192k and used as my DD and home for 5+ yrs.
The 05 V10 just was fantastic but served it's purpose atm.
I've had an 05 V10, fantastic but soul-less.
And three 7.3.s
Neither cared about 7500lb TT behind.
If costs/expenses matter, V10.
If driving experience matters, 7.3.
If you're very mechanically inclined, V10
If you can spend instead of wrench, 7.3
But it comes down to how well cared for and...

Thule rack used from CL, some aluminum right angle and three 100watt panels.
It's light weight and has been trouble free for 5÷ years.
If you pull the tail light out, take a look at the colored wire and then find it in the footwear to tap into.
