Kitchen Planning / build with galvanized steel box we got off craigslist - added built in shelves & home built legs from telescoping supports.....also added a latching mechanism that allows it to pull out and not need legs for quick access!
First round.....(legs weren't long enough : )....and...
Didn't realize there was a photo cap.....

New Tonneau Cover (to be lockable).....wasn't a perfect fit width wise (tapered in at the back, but just made the adapter rails match). Also added brackets / flush mount combo locks on the front.....they are awesome!

Not sure what the etiquette is, but since we purchased the "contraption" a bit back, it seemed like it might make sense to continue its history on this thread. If that isn't appropriate, just let me know!
My family drove down to LA to buy the M101A3 "contraption" and bring it up to its new...
Hi! We just got a 'new to us' M101A3 (super excited!! : ) and we'd really like to put a solid lockable cover on it (for critters / bears, so we can leave stuff in it at camp). My dream cover would be a two sided roll up cover like the BAK revolver that rolls inward from both front and back...

Thanks for sharing your progress! Yes, it definitely does seem like a lot of people upgrade their setups as their lives change.....just got to figure out where to take the initial plunge : )

Edited now that we've done some serious decision trees on what we need / want : )
