Hi guys, can anyone give me some advice? My SoCal Tear drop has two linked Diehard deep-cycle batteries, solar controller and guest charge pro, using x2 78w Flexopower panels for a total 158w (max 19.2v) to top up batteries. I'm no electrician, to be honest it baffles me, I have 3 Bosch 500w...
As the owner of a XTZ1200 Super Tenere, and recently, a TW200 (aka TDub) I'm lucky enough to have the best of both worlds, the big bruiser and the mighty midget. While I have taken the XT1200 off road a few times I'm no Dakar super hero, I don't find it fun wrestling over 700lbs of motorcycle...
Thanks for an awesome and informative post James! I'm planning to carry a TW200 for fun and back up transport behind my SoCal 459 Krawler Teardrop on a hitch carrier. My wife is also looking forward to learning to ride off road on it, probably make better progress than me on the trail on my...

You can see the two previous mount points. I have three tanks, one this side for the shower/hot water and two the other side, one each for the cabin heater and stove. Basically the tanks had to be raised to allow the jacks to fully rotate upside down for travel.

We all love to tinker and modify our trailers right? That's all part of the ownership experience. I thought I would share my modifications with everyone, I'm curious as to what other Teardrop owners have done. Here's my list.
- Extreme Off-road trailer jockey
- nose box LED light
- Procomp...
I've taken my trailer over many different terrains and steep loose gravel hills and deep snow are the only times the trailer has run me into trouble and impeded forward progress. It's just a weight issue for me with my under powered FJ Cruiser, I need that TRD Supercharger!
