2020 Overland Explorer Vehicles (OEV) CAMP-X pop-up slide-in pickup camper (renamed "Back Country" as of 2023)

I can slide two snowboards down each side of the camper. Out of the way, easy to access, discrete, and locked using a Master Lock in the torklift . The torklift prevents the boards from sliding out the back too (they have never even shifted). I’d image you could do something similar for skis...

PSA - if you have a popup OEV make sure to check and tighten the nuts on the latches (even tho they are nylock), especially if you do any 4wheeling. One nut had fallen off and the rest were loose on my camp-x.

2021 Overland Explorer Vehicles (OEV) CAMP-HBE pop-up flatbed pickup camper (renamed the "Hudson Bay" for 2023 model year)

Hopefully Offgrid4x4 still does work on OEV campers even tho they don’t sell them anymore.

Anyone at Overland Expo get info on when the HW HBE might be released?

That’s great that people can DIY or have a custom interior build. I’m waiting on the 6.75/8 HW interior shots before deciding on which direction to go. I like some of the recent decisions to move the weigh forward. Merge those ideas with the interior of the High Country (lots of windows...

Here’s the link to the shelf. We had to modify it a little bit, but it fits great and gives more storage space.

We found a shelf on Amazon that gives us more storage above the toilet.

We’ve never had those weird noises coming from our regulator.

Did Offgrid4x4 say they would get into the business of customizing the shells for clients?

I guess this website update answers some of the questions: https://overlandex.com/hudson-bay-6-75-hard-wall/ $82k+ Some highlights: • upper cabinet(s) above galley and dinette • narrow storage closet extension to ceiling with a tray on top for misc items, the lower cabinet houses the water...

@Ninelitetrip Those are all good points. For me, aesthetically the kickout looks better, but the square back is more practical to maximize space. I do wish OEV would move the water tank up by the cab. Seems like it would make sense to swap the water tank and propane locations. The propane...

I'm curious why you would go with the HBW HW 8' vs 6.75'? Is it just for that little bit of extra storage where the kick out is? The few 8' HBW SWs I've seen also have 8"-12" of the flatbed sticking out at the back (not sure if they were on an 8' aluma tray or 9' tho). Seems like it makes...
