    Part 2: Wyoming Backroads Exploration

Loved the photos. I haven't spent much time in Wyoming at all. Judging from your pics, there is a lot of beautiful country to see.

15 years (so far) with this TJ!

I did DD my TJ for the first 6 years I had it, but my commute was only 3 miles one way. I also divide my driving among my other cars/jeeps and the TJ has been reassigned to day trip and camping trip duties. Just got done doing 3 day trips showing some guests around the local trails (Sedona)...

Bummer about the rust! I'm originally from the East Coast but have been in Az most of my life, so no first hand experence with rust. My other Jeep is a 77 Cherokee, (Full Size Jeep), it's been an Az Jeep all it's life. 41 years old, no rust.

15 years (so far) with this TJ!

Love my TJ. Bought it on a whim in 2005. Had 50k miles on it, looked pristine. Today it turned 155k, offroad. I've been all over Az in it and several other Western states. I hope it lasts forever. Edit: 97 Tj, built July of 96, so one of the first ones. 22 years old this summer. Az/no rust...

Samsung Galaxy Tab A & GPS without WiFi

I have a Tab A SMT-550, 9.7 screen IIRC. About 2.5 yrs old. I just started using it with Alpine Quest. Works great! No GPS issues. Have you considered that maybe your tablet isn't working properly?

    Dice...... The 1978 Jeep Wagoneer

Love the KOFA area. I lived in Yuma most of my life but didn't really get to know it until I bought my jeep. Where are you going in the preserve?

    Dice...... The 1978 Jeep Wagoneer

Quote: The reason I don’t like an under mounted spare is....it could be kinda tough to get at in the event you need it in a trail. " That is why I went with my bumper mount. After I bought my Cherokee, I went to remove the spare and there wasn't enough room to lower the spare tire holder to let...

    Dice...... The 1978 Jeep Wagoneer

Dgarmin, follow this link to the FSJ group and take a look a this rear window wiring diagram. This was designed by SereHill (Rick) who recently passed away. He sold many harnesses using this design, I have one and it's great. It eliminates the factory switches from carrying the electrical load...

1973 Wagoneer - Full Size Camping Goodness

I can sympathize. I recently sold my 59 chevy PU that I've had for almost 25 years. It was a beater but fun, got lots of positive attention. I recently realized that I was tired of fixing all the little things that go wrong and that I don't have the skills to do it right. Put it for sale with a...

    Lumpskie's 1989 Grand Wagoneer Build

I agree, I'd change the water pump while I was at it. My thinking is the fan had to be wobbling/out of balance and that probably wasn't good for the pump bearings. Change it while the rad is out and you will have lots of room too. Curly
