Can a bike that was $3k when new 8 years ago be so cheap already? It sounds almost too good to be true, but the listing for the bike includes a serial number that hasn't come up as stolen. The description says the bike needs new tubes and rear brake maintenance - neither of which seem all that...

Bingo. But I have power steering pump and power windows issues that suddenly cropped up which will be addressed first.

It's pretty cold here right now. Could I get away with running a soft line from the out port to the in port and bypass the cooler entirely? Temporarily, of course.

Actually, since the condenser is fine, should I just ignore the PS cooler portion and run the lines to an aftermarket universal cooler? The hard lines to the cooler are intimidating. Would there be any problem using the soft lines that come with the universal kits?

Alright, I changed the PS pump in my '02 WJ last night and suddenly sprang a leak out of what I THOUGHT was my AC condenser, a big old crack right in the bottom. Looking more closely, that's not all it has going on. What else is it doing? It looks like it's also a PS cooler on the bottom...

I should also mention I don't know 100% if the front axle is still the d30. I think it's the D35 but I haven't talked with the PO for about a year now, so my memory may be foggy. In any case, it doesn't change the question.

Yeah I have the selec-trac. I run in snow and ice often enough that one locker is already too much sometimes - especially on roundabouts. Heaven help me if I have to stop to yield and then accelerate through it... Can't imagine how two would be.

I was just using Dana's own designation for the axle. 44a is not the official nomenclature.

So you've had both? Do you prefer either? I just think running it in the front which is (I think) a 35 is a bad idea.

It is worth noting, the AT/3 does fill up with mud pretty quick, and is less than ideal for that, but excellent in rocks and is surprisingly good in deep sand (when aired down, as always) I tend to run gravel roads a bit too fast and the handling characteristics of the AT3s in a slide are very...
