I did this on my 2003 G500, my seals never conformed...I had to slam the doors until I adjusted the door locks and now the doors are not in line with the body :-( but the install is very simple!

All W463 G's (so every G since 2002 in the US...) has 4Matic. it's all wheel drive. 461's have a nice lever like the Wrangler Malte

I can highly recommend Karl's products from G-wagenaccessories.com! the ladder is awesome! orc has some good stuff too but the import of that is kinda hard...

nice work! I have may question (as I am installing rack lights in the front and in the rear and backup lights...)! How and where did you route the power supply for the front light bar? what gauge did you use? how do you control everything (I have seen 4 relays and a remote?)? greetings, Malte

if you get the V6 TT or the V8 TT the offroad package gives you low range (not REALLY needed on a GL) but also air suspension with extended ride height. the V6 (aka GL450) is really fast and kinda efficient...

I also have the 'TC in neutral' occasionally. disassembled the TC motor, whole gear set is in perfect condition... a bit more search on the internet showed that it could also be the TC controller...the software seems to be the problem. so I live with the 'TC in neutral' message... Malte
