    2016-2017 F150 4x4 EcoBoost - Real world experiences??

The F150 Super Crew Lariat can be had with the 40/20/40 front bench. Most of the packages remove it in favor of the flow through console. Most dealers get the trucks with the packages because they sell better. The only way I could find the front bench was to order it that way, or hope someone...

    Car Insurance with Truck Campers

I use USAA. I tried to insure my car hauler several years ago, and they told me that anything being hauled or towed by the truck is covered by the truck's policy and that I did not need separate insurance. I still got separate insurance for the trailer, as my storage place required it. Cost me...

    Avion C-11 Resto-Mod

Whew. I have been busy these past few weeks. Still no progress, but after a slew of birthdays, there are several family members a year older! Part of the delay has to do with the agreement made with my wife. I have to finish all of the yard projects first before I can start on the camper. I...

    Avion C-11 Resto-Mod

No real updates as of yet. The weather and work have been conspiring against me. I can say that it is currently not sealed. All the rain we have had in the past couple of weeks goes right into the shell. Fortunately, there isn't anything to damage in there. I look forward to getting some real...

    Avion C-11 Resto-Mod

I was browsing the forums, like I usually do, and I came across my camper! Well, my camper before I owned it. (http://forum.expeditionportal.com/threads/127162-Vintage-Avion-C11-Project) I saw this thread, and was like, "Hey! That's the camper I just bought!" It was pretty much in the same...

Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 first drive reviews

Wheelbase is the same (128.3 inches) for the crew cab and the extended cab. CC gets the short bed. EC gets the long bed. The Raptor, however does offer the extended cab with the short bed. The only F150 you can get in that configuration, and it is a shorter wheelbase than the CCSB.

Thanks for the perspective. It is something I will have to keep in mind as I shop around for a new truck.

    2017 F-250 Overland/Hunt-Rig build

Tex68W, If you don't mind me asking, but why did you go with the F250 over the F350? I have been going over the two, and the price difference looked to be about $1200. Thanks! Nate

Colorado ZR2 and Tacoma TRD Pro compared

I somewhat agree with your statement. However, the ZR2 was engineered for off road capabilities. Sure, the standard Colorado/Canyon can off road, but the lower front air dam will scrape on things and break off. Stock, the approach, departure and breakover angles are worse. The ZR2 also has to...

    4-Door 6' Bed Options

Is there a specific wheelbase that you are restricting yourself to? What is your basis for your requirements? You ask about a backseat that fits an adult comfortably, but that depends on the adult. My wife is 4'10", and fit in the back seat of my 2005 Canyon crew cab very comfortably. I (6'0"...
