    Tire pressure

Running a heavy truck tire rated for 120 psi at 95 psi is 30 % under inflated. It is considered flat.

    MERCEDES VARIO AIR SUSPENSION

Nobody said it yet, so I will. Air suspension and live axle are 2 separate systems. Your rear setup now uses both. The front as well. To see your air setup, older Freightliners had it. The spring only positioned the axle.

Balancing Tires 385/65R22.5 with a "balancing powder"

Severe cupping is abnormal wear. 1. Is it dangerous to drive on cupped tires? One is an inadequate suspension system. If your shocks are worn out and the tires are literally bouncing up and down as you drive down the road, every time they come down, they get scuffed, and that leads to cupping...

Balancing Tires 385/65R22.5 with a "balancing powder"

From the avitars, I thought we might be talking about regular trucks. So Questor, may I ask if you are talking about a Unimog ? If so, did they make any mention of the camber ?

Balancing Tires 385/65R22.5 with a "balancing powder"

Most people are aware of balancing. Mount the tire on the rim, balance the tire, mount to vehicle. Heavy truck is a little different. Trailer and drive tires aren't usually done. Steer tires are. Steer axle is jacked and one tire at a time is spun to about 100 mph. Lead weights are then applied...

U500 VS 2450/L38 (new vs. old)

My apology to the OP and to Jostt, I posted the incorrect file. I never thought of the wheelbase. So, again the same info, except the link and attachment for the long wheelbase. . http://mbepc.net/en/vin/wd6de2cs814198815 . Another correction applies to Daimler from their own site. Apparently...

U500 VS 2450/L38 (new vs. old)

I think you misread the post. it didn't ask about the U5000, it was the U500 if you get the right U500, it is the U2150, but only in the North American model Im sure since the import of it began in 2001.. It did come in both the short and long wheelbases. . the attachment will explain it...

U500 VS 2450/L38 (new vs. old)

Sometimes the 2150 and the U500 are exactly the same vehicle. Don't and cant answer about them being DOKAS. The wheelbases come in 3350 or 3800 mm (L38).

If I wanted to go on an expedition , reduce possible issues, and go in luxury......

The box or living quarters on this Zetros is very expensive, and large. Some prefer COE, I always the preferred conventional cab. There will never be a threat of seeing me in either one in any case.

If I wanted to go on an expedition , reduce possible issues, and go in luxury......

I'm not really into expeditions or camping, so I tried to come up with something I would want. Over 400 HP, auto transmission, more room and obviously luxury. I looked at what Unicat offers, seems a little short for the money. The Zetros offers much more than any UHN Unimog (length and width)...
