    ARB fridge 12v problem

Thanks for all the replies. Yes, I did find the Service Manual. No thanks to ARB. But many thanks to those that posted link. Thoroughly checked the power cord fuse, used as a cig plug and the direct ARB plug port, put voltmeter on cord, all good. LED doesn't come on or anything. All works...

    ARB fridge 12v problem

After 5.5 years, my 47L ARB fridge has stopped working on 12v. It works on AC 120v. Anybody heard of this and have a fix? Editorial note: The fridge has been a stalwart until now. I'm very disappointed in the "legendary ARB service"... They have a web submitter thingy that is broken (but...

    Qooper's First Gen Tundra Build

Thanks. Way back when you'd see Callen camper tops all over the place. It's too bad nothing similar is available today, at least in the lower 48. I'd never heard of Cache before.

It's kind of humorous how worked up people can get... On a lighter note, it seems the snow and wind are sculpting my 08 Tundra into a Muskmobile...

    F150 vs Tundra....I’ll make a decision tomorrow

Yes. And the EcoBoost nonsense is much the same. How many times has that been re- done now? It turns out if you try to make a faux Porsche turbo it is just as quirky and maintenance hungry as, well, a Porsche...

    F150 vs Tundra....I’ll make a decision tomorrow

Fords seem to have more horror stories than all others combined. It will be interesting to see where Chrysler goes. I have zero confidence in Fiat or Chrysler but HUGE regard for Peugot and French engineering in general.

The big 3 also tend to come out with "revolutionary new features" which get abandoned along the way. Over the years you'll see things like 4-wheel steering, aluminum beds, all-new tailgates, etc. and then when these things implode, they are filed away in the trash.
