Most newer A/C units don't need to be tilted anymore. The fan blows the water over the condenser to improve efficiency. Just make sure the drain stays clear.
I see you should have your trailer by now. I bought a M1101 several years ago and have yet to decide exactly what I want to do with it. After I read your post, I looked at my trailer to see if your idea was even feasible. The frame structure and running gear looks like it could be removed...
There is a nice 6.6 diablo for sale on kijiji that is already converted to a camper. St Johns, NF ...Those two you listed for me would suit my purpose fine and the prices were great. Would have given them more thought if the the border was open....without quarantine. Thanks!!
I have a very similar unit on my truck except I ordered it without the side doors. It is very well sealed. Before I installed a window, I used to pull all the tie down access covers off before sleeping inside.
I have been looking for a used 8 ft Tuffport for years. The only ones I have seen for sale are the retired medical units on their site. Too pricey for me.
Will contact you If I find any thing good. Take care.
Beautiful truck ! I noticed you keep it clean. When you get tired of cleaning the hub and lug nut recess on those Saltas , get the matching trim rings...makes cleaning the wheels a breeze. Mine came with both plastic and painted steel button head allen screws. I didn't trust the plastic ones...
Saw your build in search of camper ideas for my M-1101 military trailer...and was blown away by your craftsmanship and attention to detail ! I would like to get your ideas on how you are going to build your tire carrier as well. I have the same "Hammerhead" bumper on my 2016 Ram 2500 Regular...
Looks to me like you could go to a local welding/fabrication shop and have a bike mount added to any Wilco single arm hitchgate. Beats having to swing two arms to access the rear of your vehicle.
