Thanks gang turns out speedway dismantling up in ridgecrest has a few clean ones he's willing to cut if anybody else needs. Super nice guy too.

My 90 E350 RB has some rust spots in the drip rails and parts need to be cut and replaced. Anybody seen a '75-'91 era E series RB lately with rust free drip rails in any junkyards within a day or so drive of LA? Mine has developed some problem areas and I've got a shop willing to do the work but...
The general consensus seems to be 285 70 R17 is as big as you can go without trimming a bit. I have 275 70 R17 with no rubbing at all. This being Ko2's so with other tires results may vary.

Beautiful van! We're there any tricks involved with the transfer flow fitting the quigley? I was under the impression it either wasn't possible or had to be adapted somehow. Thanks man.

I have a 2014 e350 RB V10 4x4, same transmission and diff as the one you mentioned. It's a seriously capable beast of a truck. Much more power than the v8. Fuel economy is lousy though so range may be a consideration depending on your camping plans. I'd go for the v10 though, crazy hard to find...

It's not that slow fellas - this one I'm fairly sure blew past me in my smb on the CA 395 about six months ago. Funny to see it listed here it looked gorgeous at least a quick glimpse. He had the windows down and the levolor blinds were blowing in the desert wind.
