Ever tried to make your own roof top tent cover?
I have just replaced my tent cover (5 years old) , the genuine TJM one was $170AUD retail, it is the common style with raised ladder portion and zip on lower section that runs in the sail track. Maybe you could mix match a lesser brand cover with your tent...- fullmetaljacket

What is this strap for? CVT RTT
Move them to the lower pivot of the bows, they are grab handles used to assist entry and exit onto ladder- fullmetaljacket

yea, Swan Hill was fine, actually the river heights ended up lower during the peak of the floods...
