    2011 4x4 F450 Custom Camper Build

Where did you happen to order those front fenders from? They seem that they are a pretty high quality fender even with the integrated flares. Looks amazing, great job.

    Truck Camper Beds

I've been in contact with a few different builders of beds and service bodies up here in Alberta. They all offer amazing quality and a willingness to build what I need. But I wasn't expecting the high prices of 10-18 thousand depending on what I want. So now I've been looking into the used...

    Truck Camper Beds

Good evening everyone. I have a little question that i would like to get some input on from everyone. I've been the proud owner of my 2006 Okangan truck camper for the past few months and its been awesome, but i have noticed a problem with the factory bed. Their just isn't very much room to...

    caveating water pump?

I would also check the pressure relief vlave on the hot water tank. I know for my own winterized hot water tank when I drain the water I open the relief vlave to allow more air to get behind the water to purge the water out of the tank quicker. It could just be that you need to close that vlave.

    Cab over clearance

That foam seems pretty soild to me and the math looks correct as well. For all of you fine gentlemen that helped me out, what I ended up doing was screwing 9 pieces of 2x6 under the plywood for added height. I haven't had the camper in the truck just yet but on Friday I'll be loading it up to go...

    Cab over clearance

Hey those are all great ideas guys. I'm going to be increasing the height under the plywood with some lumber screwed to the under side. Hopefully that will make all the difference for me. I do really like the idea of the rigid foam simply because it's such a light weight addition. Will the foam...

    Cab over clearance

Hey guys I have a few questions for you all. I just recently purchase a new to me 2006 Okanagan 811SL truck camper. Which just happens to be the very first truck camper I've ever owned, so you can say that I'm fairly green with the camper. My question is that when I have the camper in my truck...

Here my truck after a day of quading. I was heading home and thought to take it on some ATV trails. Nothing to exciting, I was trying to flex the suspension but not a big enough hill I guess.

    My cap : Aesthetics vs Practicality -- {W1T0UT}

I also have a question as this is almost the exact same issue i am having, i don't know whether to go with a truck cap or something else. With the tool boxes on the DCU can you still sleep two people side by side in the box of the truck. Secondly did your MPG improve with the DCU on your truck...

    Ford Fullsize Thread !!!!

Here is my work in progress. The first picture is in the middle of winter and i have the stock size tires on but they are cooper tires that are a true winter tire and studded for ice. The second pic was taken on a camping trip, and here it has the 35x12.5R18 tires on it. Both sets of wheels are...

One other thing I forgot to ask, is there such a thing as a hard sided pop up camper. That has no canvas for the upper section but the same material as the rest of the camper.

Haha ya your right I do live in Alberta, and your also right about the length of trips. The only time it would be an extended trip is when we plan on traveling up to the Yukon, Alaska, and to the east coast. The majority of trips would be the camping trips out to the bush. The only other reason...
