    Truma Combi? users comments?

i am pretty sure (this is my educated "hunch") .... that DIY people can't install themselves, as the Truma Combi is complicated, and needs to be installed by experts to be safe, efficient, and work well. It makes perfect sense that they dont want the product support + warranty claims from the...

mounting extra brake lights on 1.5” struts, NO drilling.

So it sounds as if the anodizing does need to be removed for proper grounding? Thx.

mounting extra brake lights on 1.5” struts, NO drilling.

Update: My question is - if I bolt into a pre-existing hole in the truck frame, (recent F-350) with a new, stainless steel bolt…. would the frames coating (anodized?) stop it from being a good ground? see pic of my attempt at grounding (below) I was advised to avoid drilling new holes into...

mounting extra brake lights on 1.5” struts, NO drilling.

update - So I think i like the idea of 3M VHB tape - 2 strips of 3/4” - to simply VHB tape the auxiliary brake lights to the *top* of the 1.5” strut… and the base of the brake lights are flat…. so this should work out well. It is cold (freezing and below) where I currently am…. so I’ll have...

mounting extra brake lights on 1.5” struts, NO drilling.

Cool idea - thanks! I might do this, but use Zip ties to hold in place while it sets (dont think I have clamps of the right size) and then leave the Zip ties on. Maybe. as insurance. :-) and I'm trying to figure out if this glue is suitable...... and if it is even a "urethane sealant" but it...

F350 tire airing down ranges w/ truck camper

F350 tire airing down ranges w/ truck camper Hi all I’m doing research and getting opinions and info about airing down pressure ranges (I know it varies a lot depending on tire, load, rig, conditions, etc) We have a 4x4 F350 (2020) CrewCab with 8’ bed - single rear wheels (SRW) ….. plus a...

if hiding spare truck key IN cab of 2020 F350 - an issue with truck getting confused that keys are IN the truck as well as out ?

Hi - I sometimes go camping alone, and the best place to hide a 2nd set of backup keys for our F350 2020 (Lariat, so it has the keypad for keyless entry) would be IN the cab of the truck somewhere. however i am concerned the truck would get confused, if there were one set of keys in the truck...

    Truma Combi? users comments?

Hi I can't comment on the advisory, other than it is from last year. check the date. so about the truma: note you can't buy one yourself and install it yourself. It has to be done by an authorized dealer, i believe. So in brief - the Truma Combi is great. super efficient with propane...
