Marc Beyer

Marc's connection to benzine started at an early age. His father, Reinhard, worked as a test engineer for
an old German car manufacturer Borgward in Bremen, Germany. After the company closed, Reinhard
opened a driving school. He had a fleet of cars and motorcycles which Marc helped keep in running
order.
Marc's extensive background in the automotive and motorcycle industry includes: apprenticeship
program through Mercedes-Benz; shop foreman, Mercedes-Benz in Dresden, Germany; Meisterbrief
(Master's Degree) from Meisterschule Dresden, Sachsen, Germany; shop foreman at Europa
International in Santa Fe, NM; master technician and shop foreman, Santa Fe BMW motorcycle
division; shop foreman, Executive Automotive motorcycle and import car division; and now owner and
master technician of OCD Custom Cycles and Auto Repair, LLC in Santa Fe, NM.
Marc races at Sandia Speedway in Albuquerque, NM as an AMA Club and AHRMA Club racer racing
vintage and contemporary bikes. His love and expertise with vintage bikes is evident in his choice of
vintage and custom bike projects, both personal and for his many loyal customers. Marc was invited to
judge the motorcycles at this year's Santa Fe Concorso.
