I added some lights and USB charge ports into mine today. I used stick on LED strips, and ran power from my second battery which is in the bed of my truck. I think I might need more, for reading lights or something.

Just make sure you tie those golf cart batteries down and vent them well. Tight connections and good charging also help prevent messy explosions and leaks.

Their customer service sucks, their product fits alright (apparently their UCAs are a different story) and their powdercoating is awful.

I have pulled trees, pulled a boat lift out of a lake, and recovered a stuck forklift.

I set up duals in my truck following this guide (mostly, I can't help but freestyle a bit) and it's working great. Thanks for the inspiration!

This reminds me of the "perimeter security while camping" thread. Some motion lights outside your truck wouldn't be a bad idea for some comfort, they get to be double useful as a light source when you get up to piss too.

Water is no problem, it's mud that kills the alternator.

I didn't read the thread in detail, but what you described is exactly how I have my switches wired, I have my front lights wired so they either come on with my high beams or independently, and I have my rear lights wired so they come on with the reverse lights or independently. I used DPDT...
