    Old Tanker, have you had similar issues with Overkill? I'm trying to gauge the scope of unhappy customers. I'd be very surprised if I'm the only one who's been misled.

    No experience with Overkill - just thanking you for useful input. I'm about 8 months into a wait for a TetonX - no updates from them since the first non-binding deposit. Schutt isn't taking orders at all. For now, we'll upgrade our vehicle and stick with a ground tent.

    This is from Schutt: "...due to extremely high demand, uncertainty of material availability and prices we are unable to provide pricing or estimated delivery dates for our XV-2 or XV-3 trailers at this time, as we are sold out of the current production run. We are hoping to have new pricing and production schedules available in the next 60 days."

    Thanks for the input. It sounds like Schutt is being transparent and honest. Overkill on the other hand, is continuing to take people's money (likely to fund their two main expansion efforts with Oregon Adventure Rentals and MARS truck campers) while continuing to stack up unattainable delivery dates.
