    Swing-Out Trash Bags

I think this is going to be the best option for me. I have a swing away bike rack, but no way of attaching one of the trasharoo-like products. But I do have space up on the roof rack ?

    Whynter 12v Fridge reviews? Alpicool?

I have a Whynter 45qt (I think) and have owned since 2015. It has been used daily since 2018, and lived in the back of my 4Runner for 4 months straight last summer while I explored Oregon’s backcountry. No real issues electronically, it’s done great in that regard and keeps my food nice and...

    Old's Cool

Some of my favorite photos from the last couple years. 1995 4Runner. 22RE 5spd 4.88 gear change w/ Detroit TrueTrack in rear. 31x10.5R15. Converted to manual Aisin hubs, Bilstein shocks and HD Moog springs, V6 radiator. Fridge, solar, Bluetti power system, storage/sleeping platform. Pretty stock...

How to make a cheap isolated dual-battery setup for $50

Ok should the entire length of cable be replaced or will it be safe to cut it just a bit past where the corrosion stops? Didn’t know rodents eat cables... that’s a new one for me. I’ll replace that then, it’s a short run so I have enough extra. Going to dig into there a bit more this week...

How to make a cheap isolated dual-battery setup for $50

Wondering if anyone can help me troubleshoot/pinpoint an issue I’m having with my system. I built it off of the basic plan from post #1. Only difference being the house batteries are two 35ah 12v agm batteries wired in parallel. I’ve had this system since 2014 and it’s worked well enough for...

Small lightweight camp gear trailers in US?

It might be close as a base model. I’m curious what they say about highway speeds and longevity... I don’t think motorcycles tend to weigh as much as this trailer plus a full load... which they are claiming 300 empty with 600 carrying capacity. So 900 lbs, but that doesn't seem outrageous to me...

Small lightweight camp gear trailers in US?

Check out Sports Rigs Trailstomper https://www.sportsrig.com/the-trailstomper independent suspension so no axle width concerns, I couldn’t find how wide they are though...just the box dims. But I didn’t look hard either. They use motorcycle wheels and suspension parts. Ive looked into them a...

    Old's Cool

1995 4Runner 22RE 5 speed. Bought it just over a year ago and am enjoying it. It had 145k when I purchased and I've put about 10k on it since. Planning on an OME lift w/ HD rear springs, along with replacing all wearable steering components and bought a bushing kit to get rid of all of the old...

Subaru owners: Let's see your expedition rigs!

I don't currently have a full size spare. I'm not sure if I could stuff one in my spare tire well, even aired down.. so I plan on adding a cargo basket and putting one up top. First, though, I want to pull a wheel off and see if I can fit it in my spare spot, as that would save a good amount of...

Subaru owners: Let's see your expedition rigs!

Since the tires are heavier and larger diameter, you notice it a little bit when taking off from dead stop. Acceleration still feels great though once you're spooling! The first tank average, with mileage correction made for tire size, was 23.74. Mostly city, but probably about a 1/3 highway...

Subaru owners: Let's see your expedition rigs!

Lifted WRX on A/T's Ok so here is my expedition WRX! Just lifted it about a week ago. Has a bunch of other performance and suspension goodies as well, mostly installed by previous owners. It's sitting on Forester struts/springs with a few little extras to get the suspension aligned. Tires...
