Should it stay or should it go?

You have an LX570, might as well get rid of the 4R. You had the PW and sold it, why get another one? I have a 5th gen Pro as well, and while it is great for myself, wife and 2 big dogs, we have concerns when it comes time to include kids. I will agree that the plastics on the 4R always felt...

Trans-Canada: North America and the Canadian Rockies

Great trip report Ryan. My wife and I are planning on driving from Texas to Banff this June, and I have found a lot of good info in here. Super excited for our trip! (You may (or may not) recognize me as TexasTJ on other forums).

Northern Montana and the Canadian Rockies, August 2015

Thanks for the trip report. My wife and I planned a Colorado trip for the last week of June/first of July this year, but after much talking we decided that 4th of July would be too crowded in the San Juan area, plus we have been there a few times. We decided to change our plans to finally go see...

    Tex's '18 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro build

Bay Area Metal Fab picked up the extra stock from Pelfreybilt. They have 5th Gen front bumpers steel($1450)/aluminum($1650) and the hidden winch mount for pretty cheap, I just picked up the HWM ($300) for ours and it should be here on Tuesday. Did I mention FREE SHIPPING...

    Tex's '18 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro build

We have a 4R as well, I have been looking primarily at RCI. We just put a set on my buddy's 17 Tundra and they are a solid product. We got in on a groupbuy on TacoWorld I think.

    Off season RTT storage

Looks like you've already figured it out, but we just store it on the side as well. We have the XL tent now and used the same furniture dolly to move it around the garage.

Roadtrip from Texas to North Carolina 2018 (Nemo Tunnel, Hurricane Creek Trail)

We had a great time and are currently planning a trip to Big Bend in April. I'm not familiar with Paint Mountain, so we didnt make it over there. This was actually my first time to go that far east. The train tunnel was a fun surprise that a local friend told us about the night before.

Roadtrip from Texas to North Carolina 2018 (Nemo Tunnel, Hurricane Creek Trail)

Day 8 We were winding down and making our way back to Texas. One of the guys insisted that we stop at Rock City in Georgia . It was interesting to say the least, but not quite worth the price of admission IMO. Mia has never been allowed in our bed at home, this week was her...

Roadtrip from Texas to North Carolina 2018 (Nemo Tunnel, Hurricane Creek Trail)

Day 6 cont. We went back over near the Harmon Den area and found a small campsite, just big enough for the three vehicles. In case you haven't figured it out, Mia and I are best buds. Even when she grabs our firewood and runs away with it. She's also more than willing to steal your...

Roadtrip from Texas to North Carolina 2018 (Nemo Tunnel, Hurricane Creek Trail)

Day 6 cont. After Hurricane Creek we slid over to Max Patch for a quick hike to a flat summit with a nice view. After MP we made our way over to Buzzards Roost to check out that view. Our oddball crew.

Roadtrip from Texas to North Carolina 2018 (Nemo Tunnel, Hurricane Creek Trail)

Day 6 we met up with some forum buddies from NC to run Hurricane Creek Trail. The trail was extremely secluded and was a nice easy trail for us, but a nice challenge for my buddy in the Tundra for two reasons. The first reason being, it was his first time offroad, ever. The second being, his...
