Ok Kurt. Getting caught up. And started to wonder. If you Had a choice of one of these vehicles for your personal ride? What one do you pick? I'm sure they all have pros add cons. But not often does someone have seat time in several terrains in a current line up of Toyota's toys
I've been reading this for about 4 days when my wife/kiddo give me free time. AWESOME trip. I'm super jealous right now. I've been bit by the kayak bug last weekend on a trip to lower mountain fork river (south of beavers bend oklahoma) proud of ya not letting diabetes run your life. I...
Best pic of my family ever I think. We take a road trip/exploration/recon trip. I'm taking pics of the truck, kids playing with random dogs and the wife is taking "selfies" (hate that word). I laughed when I looked at this.
We are about 3 miles from the k trail at a big foot gift shop lol
I feel the same going from my wife's 14 4runner trail to my 16 tacoma. The runner is imho a higher quality truck when it comes to the fit/finish.
Nice rigs in here. Reminds me why I stay out of this section. Gives me a case of the "I wants"
I'd go with the trd or. But im bias because it's what I bought. Personally I'd go with the long bed. The size of the box is my biggest complaint with this truck, but I also came from an 8 foot ram long bed. Biggest selling point for the OR is the locker/mts/crawl. It is very well balanced...
Does anyone know offhand if a set of OEM side bar steps from a '16 doublecab tacoma will bolt up to a 14 4runner?. I've got a set on my truck, and want to swap out for sliders. My wife wants a set of steps on her 4runner. I figure I can "justify" sliders if I give her my steps
Am I reading this right? The 16 trail at 36k. Yes
But a tacoma double cab 4wd trd offroad at 42k?
Maybe for a tundra. I just bought my tacoma out the door at 33,500. Was looking at a trail msrp was 37 maybe and a trd pro runner at 44k.
Maybe your area has a mark uo for demand?
Damn good looking taco. And a good looking pup in the back. I took my rott/mastiff mix in a ride in my new tacoma. I don't think he was a fan. The composite bed is a little slick
I do dig the shell though
I'd go with the Tacoma. I've got a '14 trail 4runner and love it. The few times she has let me get it away from her. The multi terrain and crawl control coupled with the KDSS system are awesome. For a day trip exploring I'd pick it.
That said, I've got a '16 tacoma trd or I just picked...
That's awesome! I love that truck. I wanted quicksand, but my dealer said good luck. They ordered one in November and it's yet to show up.
I ended up with these two. I bought my wife the trail 4 runner, loved it so much I sold my diesel and bought a new tacoma
