Dude. Sweet. The possibilities are endless now. Why Toy six lug front and Ford five lug rear? (i know the answer will most likely be "cuz its what i have") I'm curious to see you'll tackle the cab. How about something like an extended five window pickup?

are you talking about complete bumper to bumper harness or just for the engine efi stuff? For bumper to bumper look into EZ-Wiring harnesses, sold be Dolphin Gauges. Top notch stuff. For the engine harness PCM I got a guy, great work on the cheap. Here is my old '63 on 31 x 11 tires

MotorDave, that has the perfect stance. Looks killer. I would reccommend trimming fenders to fit larger tires rather than buying a lift kit. I've been thinking about upgrading my 800 axles to scout II axles, then I read all the negatives that go along with them. How about dana 44s out of a...

    u bolts welded to axle?

That's a hack job, and I'd say not safe at all. Ubolts don't like heat, they get brittle and snap. Welding makes heat, you do the math.

I'd be willing to bet my jeep is heavier. I've had a few scouts and even a travelall. I have to say that I've never really been impressed with an IHC engine.

4.3l fuel injected is a great motor. I just did the swapped the sbc out in favor of the 4.3. I was worried it wouldn't be enough motor during the swap, my jeepster is a tank. Everything worked out better than expected. I'm running the 4.3L out of a 2004 silverado mated to a th350/np205 in my...

Trooper vs 4runner for a budget minded build? whats your thoughts?

Heres a thought. The Wife's trooper has the 3.5L in it.(supposedly second one) What bell housing bolt pattern do these use? A nice MPFI 4.3L would probably be a great swap. Sorry if its been done a million times, I'm new to the Isuzu world.

Trooper vs 4runner for a budget minded build? whats your thoughts?

Ok, I spoke with ARB USA yesterday. Dude on the phone tells me that the 929 springs (actually superseded to #2929) will only give a net lift of 3/4". Am I missing something? I'd also like to share my TOD fix here since there are a few Trooper people watching this thread. The Trooper my wife...

Trooper vs 4runner for a budget minded build? whats your thoughts?

I'm trying to calculate the price difference between ordering all the individual parts through my shop to see if its any cheaper than purchasing a whole kit. I have the OME # for the coils. Wondering if anyone can suggest a shock length? Using the Old Man Emu #929 coils
