    1998 Tacoma Camper/Build Thread - Pics!

    They are definitely hard to find unless you want to do some work yourself. I wasnt in a rush and took about a year looking to find one. I definitely think the access cab/dbl cab with the long bed is the way to go if your going to be doing any living out of the back.

    Holding up great, there is no sag in the center. Been using it over a year now. And yes 3/4" ply, cost me about $100 for all the wood and hardware.

    yes the storage compartments are secured on the sides, they dont move at all when the center platform piece is removed. they are attached with a metal "L" bracket inside the front and back compartment drilled on one side to the wood, and the other thru the bedliner and into the bed with longer...
