    Opinion on used Toyota Tundra

I've got the basic fabtech coilovers in my 1st gen, not the dirt logic ones, I have no issues with them, they are leaking, but the PO said he put the lift kit on back in 05/06 and he bought the truck new in 04 so they have almost the full 430 000 km on them, but they are still functioning normally.

    Pitchblack Rally Recce Raider Build

you could look into later 3rd gen ford ranger rear jump seat, they fold out of the way when not in use.

Yes, it's a basket case. No, I was not on drugs when I built it... (2001 Toyota Tundra 2->4WD Build)

I'm still thinking of going for it, but I don't have any trip plans till august, so I'll probably revisit the idea then.

I was looking to do that exact setup with the L track, then I discovered that the cheapest I could find was 250$ for I believe 4 meters.

front end refresh on 2004 AC tundra question.

I'm running s rated sumitomo encounters. and it already had some some basic white body fabtech coilovers on it. I'm pretty pleased with both of them.

front end refresh on 2004 AC tundra question.

I'm probably going to stick with rubber as I find my suspension already stiff enough.

front end refresh on 2004 AC tundra question.

considering I already have those maybe I should look into after market arms, thankfully my tires are wearing evenly so far, I suggested the ACdelco stuff mostly because they are the GM OEM, and therefore can't be that bad right? well that what my train of though was anyways.

front end refresh on 2004 AC tundra question.

hmm, never head of SPC, but two people have mentioned them now, guess I'll look into it. I've heard the same thing when people talk about after market ball joints, but not the bushings, I suppose I'll have to do more research on that too. I remember from my more active jeep days that a lot of...

front end refresh on 2004 AC tundra question.

I'm thinking of just getting new control arms that already have bushings in them, I'm planning on ordering from rockauto, any recommendations on Moog VS ACdelco for upper and lower control arms. I'm going to get OEM toyota for the balljoints I'm also going to replace the bushings on the...

    The Ballad of Texas Truck

So I've picked up this rack from the junkyard, Here is what it looks like sitting on the topper. There is a little gap on the inside of the rails. So I'll probably end up making a little shim or something to fill the gap, but what I'm wondering is how the rest of you mounted a rack to...

    1st Gen 4runner Project: My COVID-19 Build

A V8 tundra was the first V8 I ever drove, and it took a few years before I got my own, still as awesome as younger me remembered. I kind of miss the simplicity of my old dodge 318, but my Toyota 4.7 is better in just about every other way :)

i forgot that tundras had a V6 option and taught you were about to do a 2uz swap until I saw the picture of the engine bay.

    The Ballad of Texas Truck

Mine was a (I think) a 2barrel 318 with a 3 speed auto. The driver side electric window worked for about 1-2 weeks. After that I was able to open it by just pulling it down. And it hated being up in the mountains, whatever horses it had left all developed sudden onset asthma up there.

    The Ballad of Texas Truck

I'll have to double check, but I believe they were bone by the PO a few months before I got the truck.
