Place to get Aluminum or steel siding for Off-Road trailer build in So Cal

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows of a good place to get 4x8 and 5x8, 5x10 aluminum sheet or steel siding for trailers at a reasonable price?

Thanks
Chris

Check to see if there is an "Online Metals" in your area for any metal supplies. Most large cities have a location where you can pick it up yourself to save shipping.

any good local metal shop can get it for you. Do not go to an RV supplier or you will pay double. I just bought 6 sheets of .040 polar white aluminum 4x10 for $126 per sheet. This stuff is already painted, and one side has a protective film to prevent scratches during assembly. The distributor that brought it in was Coast Aluminum

Where are you? You might look for a place to buy this stuff:

It comes in 4x10 sheets.

If you need a 5x10 they have a 3M brand:

Its nice stuff and is probably cheaper and lighter than aluminum. Plus its already painted. And you don't need a layer of plywood under it.

This is a good tip. The 2mm version weighs the same as .040 aluminum, but is much more dent resistant. It is super easy to work with. This product is made under a number of product/brand names, so check around. Diebond is one. A sign supply wholesaler will give you much better pricing than a sign shop.
