Day 15

Badge Day

My main focus for this rig was retain stock ride level (upcountry lift springs came stock) and make it more offroad capable (including articulation for a decent size tire).

Lets see, the qualifications for the TrailHawk Badge;
  • Tow hooks
  • Upgraded Jeep wheels
  • All-terrain tires
  • Skid Plates
  • Trail Rated 4X4 drivetrain
  • Most capable offroad of the various trim selections
TRAILHAWK badge earned!

Now its time for the trails and camping...

Found a set of these overland rails at the junkyard for $12 each... now just got to bolt them on.

Nice to see some WJ out there still
Everything up here is rotted out, regardless if you can see how rusted it is from the curb or not, its there.
Crazy you have no rub at that height with that wide of tires!

Here is my 2002 I sold back in 2015. My wifes 2019 gets better mileage in city with 3.6 than my 4.7 could manage on the highway, so there is plenty I don't miss about the WJ
