General question: Head bolts on Monteros torque to yield?

I have the torque pattern and values. The ultimate question is, ,
Can these head bolts be reused?
Or are they a "one time" use only?
I will be doing a valve job in the near future and don't want to go back into the engine, unnecessarily. Cheers,, G.

That simple of a question deserves an answer. I have a hard copy FSM for the 2000 Montero, which has the 3.5 engine. And after looking closely in the manual, I can't answer your question. Says nothing about whether they are torque to yield. Maybe the omission is the answer (doesn't say they are torque to yield), but I just don't like making that assumption. I have not had the heads off. I would have suspected torque to yield, but that means nothing.

Keep the old bolts they always come in handy for other projects or to hold engines on an engine stand, etc.
