What you describe about cross border price differences is not unique to US <=> Canada. I must say I'm somewhat amazed to read about ordering sandwich panels across the Atlantic... Aren't those made on your side ? Here in Europe we see big differences in price for the same products and this makes shopping around a must as it can really save you serious money..

The Fuso chassis has a gooseneck up and over the transmission. In an effort to keep the center of gravity as low as possible we stepped the floor.

Have a look at Hafele’s range, we use them for our cabinet hardware supplies


They sell a range of pop up electrical outlets, being a German company, they will have eu plugs

I noticed very little change with the super singles in MPG, the body added some for sure due to the shape, i cannot give exact figures as i have not calculated them but my dash says 15Litres/100KM - note that will be incorrect due to the wheel and tire dia change.

Correct it is a 2012 FG140 4x4 Diesel is whatever their stock tank size is (you can find this online) . I am putting in a 70 Gallon Freshwater tank over the rear Axel. Truck with empty camper body and super singles weight was 6828kg with half a tank of fuel. Note the camper body was empty and i will final weigh when completed.

My bad that was the chassis sub frame, super singles, larger tires and winch mount, bumper,body with windows, doors and hatches included
