    Ice blocks from vacuum bags?

I use the bags from Dunkin' Donuts box of Joe boxes. Works well for the length of my cooler. I use 2 or 3 depending on the duration of the trip. Picture of the bag I stole from the web:

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

With some friends helping we got the rear pinion seal replaced, e-brakes adjusted, Borgeson lower steering shaft installed along with a MORE pillow block riser bracket swapped in, plugs, oil and filter done. Two fingers on the steering wheel at 75+ on the ride home. Drives so nice right now.

    Knife thread

Thanks Robert. I gave it to my brother-in-law as a Christmas gift and it was well received. I had to make my own scales from a 1.5" x 1.5" x 6" block of cocobolo as I needed scales longer than 5" for the Tanto I'm working on. Took forever to get the scales the same thickness. Need more...

    Knife thread

Been quite in here for the last couple of months. I finally tried making my first one from a prepared blank kit. Bocote scales on a 3-1/8" skinner. Not a bad first attempt I guess. Second attempt will be a 6-1/8" Tanto blade with Pau Ferro (Bolivian Rosewood) scales.

Custom DIY straps and tie downs

I started making my own custom straps about 8-9 years ago. I started with simple loops that would allow me to use ratchet straps on the footman loops in the back of the LJ I have made gas can straps for my cargo rack, a couple single point rifle slings, dog leashes, etc.. Just using a Singer...

On trail comms; Why and how survey

2m, 70cm, CB, FRS and GMRS licensed too. Depending on who I'm running with and what the needs are determines what goes. The Jeep club I run with just decided to switch to FRS due to CB costs and tuning needs vs. blister pack FRS ease.

    What is an "Arsenal"

Excuse the quote of myself. The final legislation and subsequent signing by the Governor happened today. The amendment was made more specific (just applies to the affected items not general trigger jobs, etc. But the penalties are steep and there is no path to legal ownership or transfer...

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Hard top went on, tires got rebalanced, diagnosed that the lower steering shaft u-joint is worn out, and that one of the unit bearings needs to be replaced (will probably do both and keep one as a spare).

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Replaced the driver's side seat belt receptacle and rearranged my ham antenna wiring. Tomorrow the hardtop goes back on and the tires get rebalanced, at least one had all the weights rubbed off last weekend in Berlin, NH.

    What is an "Arsenal"

This is in MA, the courts are in their pockets and beds. The AG is Maura Healey, her wife is a State Judge. Looks like the bill the Senate passed is much more specific than the crap the house passed. I haven't yet seen transcripts though.

    What is an "Arsenal"

You sure do end up with kneejerk overreactions. Case in point: Our RINO governor has already said he'll be signing it. Can't wait to move out of this CommieWealth.
