I've been following this family on YouTube for about 2 years.
They switched from a 43' foot toy hauler a JKUR and a Teardrop to travel the southwest with.
Their videos are pretty awesome, with drone footage, etc.
Should be interesting to follow their adventures, since this is a TOTALLY new...
I purchased a 6x10 enclosed trailer a month or so ago. It needed a lift.
It has a 3500lb Dexter torsion axle. Dexter makes lift spacers for their torsion axles. It's a total bolt on kit.
Here's the project video:
It's from Fabform Industries. It's the best built utility trailer I have ever seen.
I've added D rings in the floor to haul my Polaris Ranger. Sometime before the NWOR I need to add a wheel chock for my dual sport motorcycle because this is the trailer I plan to take to the NWOR
This might be my next truck.... The ZR2 Bison, which will be similar to the AEV Concept that was at SEMA last year...
Here's the video I made of it:
This is a video of the tires (and their out of round condition) on one of my trailers. The concept of balancing trailer trailers might be a new concept to some, so I thought I'd share my video here.
Back in 2010 I bought a different trailer than in the video. It was a flatbed PJ car hauler...
I got this idea from a good friend of mine who had a truck camper.
Seems like most truck campers don't have an outside light on the passenger side of teh camper, which is where the "campsite area" is generally located in some back-in sites, and nearly all pull-through sites.
Adding the light...
See Level II tank monitor in my Arctic Fox is probably one of the most useful and meaningful upgrades I've done to it over the years.
I reads the tank levels in "percent" values instead of idiot lights.
It's made by Garnet Instruments up in Canada.
Here's a short video that shows it...
The 2018 Crosstrek is all new for 2018, based on the all new 2017 Impreza.
I looked at a few last week and test drove one.
They are much quieter than the 1st gen Crosstreks and have a better ride as well.
I looked at them because I've considered them or some other small AWD CUV / SUV as a...
Here's a trailer I bought about 2 months ago to haul gear and a SxS (Polaris Ranger or RZR) behind my truck and camper.
This beefy of a trailer isn't for everyone, but I thought I'd throw it out here as on possible option.
The company makes it in a single axle version as well.
Here's a quick video I did showing the upgrades I did to haul my Arctic Fox 911 truck camper on my 2009 Silverado 3500HD Dually.
I wish I would have done the Torklift Stableloads BEFORE doing airbags, they help more than airbags.
