I like the Egoe Supertramp concept a lot and it's got me looking at other kitchen/storage options for my LR4 as well.
I have a rtt so the need for another sleeping platform is still worthwhile but not as crucial. The Egoe system let's you configure to your needs.
It seems as if the Ququq is a...
“ohh, and I’m trying to find a quality cell phone mount solution. Had a great Ram Mount setup on my Jeep. It, that involved drilling into the dash. Not doing that on the Rover.”
I just love these one-off stories that apparently sum up an entire company.
Following this logic based in my LR4 with 90k mikes which has been, bar none, the most reliable, maintenance-free vehicle I have ever owned, LR must make the BEST autos in the world! [emoji12][emoji12][emoji12]
@Jwestpro I was referring to my LR4. My bad for posting here on this LR3 thread. [emoji3062] so pleased with the move to the 18’s I get a little post-happy I’m afraid. Definitely appreciate your comments on the forum - big reason I made the switch.
There’s just too many keyboards and too many opinions out there these days... digits are cheap, but time (wasted) is precious.
Would be great to discuss the facts around the new Defender on this thread.
I just added the BFG 265/65/18s and only had rubbing issues with the front wheels on the frame horns. This is with 18” wheels and 30mm spacers.
Maybe I just haven’t noticed the issues in the rear, which is fine by me, but have been on and off road over about 2k miles so far.
That is one nice set-up and you have me thinking that’s the way I need to go. Now that I have a RTT solution, the need to sleep in the back of the LR4 is a lot less necessary - (though I like the idea of being able to sleep four in the rig just on principle).
Having the fridge in the...
Helps to know where everyone is from regarding the deposit issue. Suspect it is going to be different country to country.
The D90 is coming first?!? I thought the 110 was first and then the 90 and the 130 much later :confused
Thanks Keeper. I have seen some drawer solutions like that and they seem to do a good job of raising the floor line up to or above the Fridge which would smooth it out for sleeping. I was hoping to not go that way, but possibly. I suppose one could remove the fridge at night if that wasn’t too...
Yea, there are plenty of threads around on the 18/19 LR4 choice, particularly on LRWorld and we don’t have to keep this going. Just happened to come across it, didn’t note the date and commented trying to help - bytes are cheap.
Can’t say I agree with you in regard to not going with the 18”s...
The reason I found the thread was that I am in the process of making my ‘12 LR4 more of an ‘adventure’ ride in its post daily driver role and tires are one if the first items to deal with. I had pretty much decided to stay with the 19s and go with the Cooper’s next tire change but then found a...
Dredging this thread up from the past...
Does anyone have any experience with adding a fridge in place of the middle seat and still trying to use that area for sleeping? I assume most fridge units will stick up significantly(?) from that flattened level when all is made even. We use a pretty...
