    Beadlock wheels

I don’t need them and I rarely air down close to where I risk losing a bead, but I found a pretty good deal where even just the tires are worth the total cost to me. I’m hoping to get the whole set which is wheels and tires but then I’ll need to decide if I want to put the tires on my current...

    Beadlock wheels

Yea I figured most shops wouldn’t want to mess with them. I mainly worry about how they perform at highway speed or if there are any safety issues.

    Beadlock wheels

I’m looking to get new tires and found a set of wheels and tires for that I want to get but the wheels are beadlocks. Has anyone run beadlocks on a truck that is going to be driven on the highway a lot. We only use the 4Runner for trips so it sees a lot of off-road time but still a ton of...

    IPF lights

I have 6 IPF 900xs lights, 5 in a rack and one in the box still. I got them with a roof rack that I bought a few years ago but never mounted the lights. The rack would need to be repainted. Not really sure what their going for now, I was thinking maybe 400 for everything, or trade for...

    Fuel tank on roof

Well I found a great deal on a transfer flow tank for my Ford so I bought that. With that tank we'll have around 2000 miles range if we want. With the tank back there I still have over 6 feet of bed space left. I'll use the Ford to pull the trailer and on really long trips, then use the...

    Fuel tank on roof

I don't think a tundra tank would fit. An aux in the spare space would be the best choice to not effect handling of COG much but I worry that it'll turn into a fire in an accident. Chances of getting hit in the rear bumper are high, so I worry a tank directly behind that could be risky.

    Fuel tank on roof

Yea I'm thinking I'll get a huge transfer tank for my f350 and use that for trips where we plan on really covering a ton of miles or pulling the trailer. Then I'll save the 4Runner for trips where we want to run trails and stuff and just plan on needing to stop more often, plus without having...

    Fuel tank on roof

Yea I'm about the same. When we pull our small trailer we reliably get 10 everywhere, without the trailer but still all our other gear we get 15-16 avg for most trips. That's what's hard about it to me, we get what I would consider decent mileage so if I thought just had an extended range tank...

    Fuel tank on roof

That would be good but I have had bad luck with any of the plastic cans building too much pressure and swelling in the heat. Unless maybe this tank has a vent

    Fuel tank on roof

I haven't been able to find anyone that makes anything but I'll measure and see if something like that will fit, that would be great.

    Fuel tank on roof

You guys brought up a lot of good point. I'm probably not going to get a aux tank to mount on the rack. I think I may just try and find a spun aluminum tank to fit a space under somewhere even if it's not as big. I'll just accept the range of tbe 4Runner for what it is. I'll just get a big...

    Fuel tank on roof

I guess the fact that it's fuel on the roof has never been an issue. I've always done every trip with 2 or 3 jerry cans on the roof for the last 10 ish years. Do you guys not carry and additional fuel over what your stock tank can hold? Seems like every overlanding rig I see has cans on the...

    Fuel tank on roof

Yea weight wise it's not bad, about what I would carry in jerry cans. I just keep hearing that a tank up there isn't safe but then they have a bunch of jerry cans so I can't imagine why that would be safer unless I'm missing something. Also an aux tank on the spare space is what others...

    Fuel tank on roof

Actually looking at these tanks the spun aluminum ones look a lot better and might be a little less resistance (not like it matters much st this point) Maybe like this This is the 4runnee i would put the tank up against the back of the rack and move the box forward

    Fuel tank on roof

We love our 4Runner but the range has been an issue on every trip. I usually carry 2 or 3 jerry cans on the roof but it's always kind of a pain getting them off the roof and using or filling them so I try to avoid it unless I have to. Plus I've had issues with them swelling and and working...

    Offroad fishing Trailer

I love the ice fishing house idea, I've never heard of those but it seems like a great idea. I may have to try and steal that idea.
