What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Damn man looks good for 246K miles! Any major reliability issues so far?

Took the Jeep to the shop and they figured out what the squeak in the front was. The steer stops weren't adjusted correctly and was causing the U-joint to rub at the steering limit. Quick adjustment fixed it. Also had Discount Tire replace one of my tires under warranty because it just was not...

Got my AJT Designs fob in today. Got it in Anvil with red allen screws. Really good quality. Color matches pretty well to Anvil. I did have to destroy the old fob to get the key out but it was rough looking anyway.

I can report that the squeak in the rear is 100% gone. It's great to open the tailgate silently now and now I don't hear a groan when going over speed bumps or even slightly flexing the rear axle.

I think I finally fixed a squeak that I've been having in the rear. Narrowed it down to the Tire Carrier and the saddle that joins the actual carrier with the rear tailgate. Cleaned behind the plate (ton of New Mexico dirt) and re positioned the saddle. Hopefully it fixes the squeak in the...

Pretty small stuff going on. State inspected (and passed, lol.) Going to get my shop to look at my front end to try to find a squeak. Also ordered the AJT Designs Key Fob in Anvil with red screws. Should be a super easy install.

Good to hear! I would only say that if you plan to load the back of your Jeep to the brim you would probably be better off with the 3.5" lift from AEV. The 2.5" is nice but I really kick myself by not getting the 3.5". Good luck with the build.

Thank you! It was a bit of a pain with extending the wires and making it look decent but they work. Thanks on the wheels, they are just a set of the Rubicon wheels with a wheel spacer, thinking of upgrading to the AEV saltas in 2019.

FINALLY! I decided to stop procrastniating and finally get the rest of the KC Rock Light project finished. Had to go to the hardware store and pickup some bolts for the rear and some electrical wire to extend the right side wire loom to the sPOD, but other than that it was pretty easy...

Had a leaking pinion seal in the rear. It was a slow seep nothing too bad. Got it fixed under warranty from the shop that did the gears. 4 of the 6 rock lights are mounted. I need to find a good spot for the rear two before I finish and wire everything up.

Installed the under hood lights. Had to drill two small 1/8th inch holes in my hood. You know the good ol saying, measure 37 times, drill once haha. Trail Recon has a great video on his YouTube channel that I followed to install them. Literally did everything he did and it turned out great, I...

So I am getting a little light happy. Ordered a KC under hood cyclone kit a few days ago that comes with two of their cyclone LEDs. Going to be mounting those under the hood hopefully in the next few days. Also ordered their JK Rock Light package with 6 cyclones. That is expected to get here...

Got a few things done to the Jeep. First of all got it cleaned! Cleaned the engine bay and cleaned the outside the best that I could to get that New Mexico/ Arizona dust off. Looks pretty good now if I may say so myself. Was a little sketchy when I reconected the battery which I probably...

One of the plastic buckles on my Adventure Tool Company Shoproll broke off the other night. Sent it off yesterday to them to get it repaired. Awesome customer service. Got that roll about 2 years ago. Considering getting some more of their bags for my ARB Tire Repair Kit and to organize my sockets.

Installed a new cabin air filter and a K&N engine air filter. I was suprised when I was checking the cabin air filter that there wasn't one! No wonder I was dying of dust in the Jeep even with the windows up on the GDE.

Got my set of KC Hilities Gravity Pro 6 Driving lights in last night and got them installed. Love the classic look of these lights and they do throw out a pretty good amount of light for not being the higher output spot light. Went with the driving pattern because if I am ever in fog or a dust...

So good news! Disconectted the subwoofer in the back and I can report that the stero is still kicking! I had to adjust a few settings in the headunit and equilizer to get it sounding good again but honestly the speakers in the front give me plenty of bass for the music I listen to. I can tell...

Goose Gear JKU Plate System question

That's the plan. Going to try to disconect the sub tomorrow and see how I like it unpluged for a few days. If it isn't bad, I'll probably move ahead with the Plate System in around a month or two.
