    Expedition One Rear Bumper

Threatening to charge a restocking fee for something not even done yet is such a load of crap, especially after weeks of no communication. If it were me, I wouldn't wait at all to start the charge back process.

    GMRS Recommendation

Not trying to hijack the thread, but does anyone have any recommendations for a 2 watt mobile GMRS setup? Up here in Canuckistan we are limited to 2 watts of power and all of the mobile GMRS radios I can seem to find are either 5 or 15 watts. Ideally, I'd like a vehicle mounted radio with some...

    malibubts's 2015 Ram 1500 CCSB Build

That looks pretty decent. I've been using an action packer for my chuck box for the past few years. I can fit all of my dishes, cookware, and stove with room left over for dry/non refrigerated foods. Only thing I don't like is the angled sides waste a little space, but se la vie.

Don't Throw Your Life Away - Battling Marine Debris from Alaska to Panama

Awesome job on the cleanup! Whenever I camp somewhere, I always make sure to pack out more garbage than I came in with. It pisses me right off just how disrespectful others can be towards other users, let alone towards nature itself.

roof rack lights for setting up camp.

If you have an awning, pointing the lights up towards it will help diffuse the light around the area and keep it out of your eyes. It can also help the light feel warmer, depending on the base color of the lights/awning.

VIDEO: 1972 Pinzgauer 710M built for Search and Rescue

That is an awesome rig! I'm in a SAR group in my area and a lot of the plans for mods to my truck revolve around making it more capable for SAR missions, so it's cool to see your setup. Gives me a lot of ideas for mine, haha.

slow build- 97 Ram CTD family truck/expo rig

I can see how that would work. I was thinking of running 17" beadlocks so that would work out nicely.

slow build- 97 Ram CTD family truck/expo rig

So other than going to 37s and a new leaf pack off the start, not much different which is pretty cool. I've heard that wheel hop can be an issue with these rigs; have you ever noticed any from yours? Any details on the 3rd gen brake swap? Part of the reason I was thinking of the 2002 was for...

    2016 Regular Cab Silverado 4X4

Awesome pictures! I'm also in Alberta and was wondering which specific PLUZ those are from. I'm always on the lookout for new places to go explore.

slow build- 97 Ram CTD family truck/expo rig

I dig the setup! I'm thinking of getting a 2nd gen 2500 for my next rig myself. Haven't quite decided between the 12v or the 24v though, and the disc brakes all around on the 2002 would be pretty sweet. Anything you'd do differently with the build knowing what you know now?

AT Overland Habitat X James Baroud Pop up tent = Ultimate truck camper?

Over the past couple months, I've been researching every little aspect of building the camper that I can think of and I have a rough plan for it now: Pardon the very rough drawing as I do not have access to any form of CAD, but here's approximately how I'd want it to look. With how tight to...

Thanks man! I'm pretty happy with it. If I decide to do a solid axle swap I'll probably do a redesign, but it'll work well for now.

    OVRLND camper topper

I'm probably not going to be able to start the build for a long while yet. Don't have any shop space and might be going back to school in the fall for a couple years, so it could be a few years away.

    OVRLND camper topper

I was planning on combining the pop up tent portion with either a flatbed, service body, or Aussie style tray bed. If I go the service body route, it would be more streamlined than a lot of the ones you see out there (shallower side boxes to maintain bed/living space, high clearance rear end...

    OVRLND camper topper

That looks awesome! I have been planning (okay, dreaming about is more accurate) on building something almost exactly like this. Do you have any estimates on pricing? (depending on what options people go for and what kind of vehicle it would be going on, of course.)

Got a bumper (and battery tray to give room for coolant overflow/windshield washer reservoir relocation in a few days) made up, pretty happy with how it turned out.
