We have stuck to the standard 255/55/18
Feel that while larger would work in town, off-road technical situations could become sketchy.
Especially for our diesel's inter-coolers located in the front wheel wells.
Congrats! - Looking forward to seeing you on trail
18" wheels with BFG KO2s in 255-55-18 are all we have needed these past 125k miles.
Highly suggest first, before mods, taking it on easy trails as is to learn how it handles prior to any changes.
Remember everything has to earn its place with...
Here are pictures of the Ineos Grenadier we got to see and sit in. Very impressed! Next will be a drivers day to see how it handles 1st hand. Have not heard when it will be scheduled.

We have an Ineos Grenadier on Pre-Order - If / once it gets here, 'Otis' will then be retired from longer trail trips Biggest issue with diesel, it severely limits where we can travel - only in most of North America. We want to travel in Mexico, Central & South America - no-can-do as ULSD fuel...

Our favorite place on this planet is the Big Bend. When we lived west of Ft Worth we would vacation there four times a year for over 10 years. Hoping to return this fall.
For 'Otis' we have the stock OEM 18" wheels with stock sized 255/55/18 tires. Note we purchased locally two additional sets of the same OEM 18" wheels from folks giving us 12 wheels. Six wheels with KO2s and six with Hakka's gives us two full size spares. Being remote on trail even with a...

With lots of miles and many years our air suspension has been trouble free. We have done a lot of technical trails and never felt the need of getting a lift kit. We do mainly multiple week off-road trips vs weekend rock climbing. If rock climbing / mudding was our interest there are better...

10 years ago only custom fabrication was available for Cayenne's. We have not seen a need for 'lift kits' these are now available along with more established sources like Frontrunner that makes a lot of gear like roof racks, a drawer system for pre 958 Cayennes but should also fit them too...
We run KO2s for three season, studded Nokian Hakkapeliitta's for winter. All 255/55/18s on stock P-car wheels. Hakka's have been especially good for ice racing, last time on the Yukon River at Dawson City. This will be our 958 diesels 10th year, 1st year did a season of autoX both won our...

Agree, "bring it up to temp, all the bacteria dies"
For us living off-road / off-grid for extended periods of time, cleaning gear prior to repacking is our issue.
How do y'all clean your Snow Peak gear?
Used our Snow Peak Smoke Meister for the first time, our first time using any smoker. Did a wonderful job with chicken thighs and shaved kohlrabi.
Any suggestions on how to clean it after use? Would prefer to not use a dishwasher as being to harsh...
We have rented an Overkill 5x10 twice from ROVE. Took one trip around Bend and the second was two weeks in Moab. We were very comfortable with it and it preformed very well off-road.

Just listened to this video,
we too were impressed with the Grenadier and Ineos approach & honesty when we got to see it in the PNW last week.

Congrats, these are very capable out of the box!
Almost 10 years and 122k principally off-road miles on our 958 diesel with air suspension, lift kit not required. Last trip was 2 weeks in Moab, trip prior 10 days rally driving 5,120 miles one way north of the Arctic Circle. Drove 10-12 hour...
'Yes We Cayenne' -- Every now and then PCA recognizes that Porsche also builds four door vehicles too. Their December 2021 issue features a 2006 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, it's driver, navigator, and the Rebelle Rally. Three Cayenne's ran the Rebelle off-road rally in 2021. Previous years Sandy...
The Dweller looks interesting.
Looked online and did not see what the hard sides are made of nor the R value. Some components were mentioned like Snow Master, which is a good brand.

Our 2013 diesel with air suspension has been off-roading for 113k miles from new in the desert & up to the frozen Arctic Ocean. Have never seen the need for an additional lift kit as we do not rock climb but do go beyond FS roads.
As you are in southern CA, a big determinant for us would be...
Good to hear y'all are well! We took our 2nd trip with Richard Hamilton in 2019 to SE Oregon. That trip we visited where the OR, ID, NV borders meet-up. Our last trip pre-COVID was the ALCAN 5000 rally, quite a bit more than just the Alcan Hwy. Rally is a 5,120 mile one way road rally up to...
