    2001 Provan Tiger (F250 4X4) modifications

Very glad to see you're letting the Tiger out! You are already a way better owner for that rig than I ever was :bike_rider:. I've been meaning to email you that there's a low-dollar RV ladder currently offered on the San Looie Oh Craigslist. If you're still looking for one ...

    2001 Provan Tiger (F250 4X4) modifications

Yes. I sort of need one of them long looping driveways to avoid congestion between the ones coming in and the ones going out. ;) ... Actually, I am enjoying my status of being "between vehicles" at the moment.

    2001 Provan Tiger (F250 4X4) modifications

Yes, Linda, do take good care of the Tiger. I know you'll show it much cooler places than I ever could. I look forward to the stories you'll tell.

    2001 Provan Tiger (F250 4X4) modifications

Solar options As noted above, the Tiger came sans generator. The P.O.'s use of the rig involved lots of travel, and not much sitting still, so his electrical needs could be met with the engine alternator charging the "house" batteries every couple of days. I am more of a loafer, and I...

    2001 Provan Tiger (F250 4X4) modifications

The first performance enhancement was to upgrade the stock bumper with one that will hold my stuff. We replaced it with killer diller super custom bumper and storage system from Overland Hardware. I was looking for storage for “outside” gear and we came up with this system. It...

    2001 Provan Tiger (F250 4X4) modifications

So I bought this F250 Provan Tiger CX 4X4 a couple of months ago to put an end to my Vehicular ADD. It is a blend of all the cool things an adventure vehicle should be. Small enough to go lots of places, large enough to stay awhile. Just the ticket for me and Mrs. Esmi's someday trip to South...

    Tiger Build up

Yes, I think mine was custom ordered sans generator (also sans roof air and oven). I will have to check the build sheet when I get nearer the truck. I had thought briefly about installing a gennie, but I don't really have or want to add anything to run with it. In fact, I believe all my elec...

    Tiger Build up

Mine is a 2001 Ford F250 gasser with 180,000 miles on it. I have put about 500 of those miles on, and the original owner did all the rest. I have been meaning to start a "build page" for this neat and useful rig, but I suppose I have to actually make improvements before I have anything to...

Feeler: 2000 100 Series in Cali

If I'm not mistaken, that is the Happy Button below the hazard lights in the last photo. I am not interested, yet (although my Sprinter is at a buyer's mechanic today getting once-overed. So ... ... maybe...)

    Nice Pinz on e-bay

Very nice clean looking Pinzie. I find it odd that 3/4 of the text of the ad is cut-and-paste from Wikipedia. The four reasons I am not going to buy this Pinz, in order of relevance, are: 1) I am not going to buy any Pinz, (at least that's what I keep telling myself). 2) I need one 1975 or...

Yes. In mine, I didn't have to worry too much about traffic jams on the interstate -- they usually managed to get by me without too much trouble :wings:

    1974 Mercedes L508D Monarch Motoroam 24' RV $1000

I had a Mercedes bus for awhile based on a similar platform, and called Motoroam Industries for some part or another; and I was really pleased to talk to Mr. Oam himself (or whatever his name was). My point is, Motoroam parts are still available from the builder, and the builder absolutely...

    1975 Volvo TGB111 Camper

For those that haven't checked out the gallery, I recommend you do. In addition to being cool/unique/desirable in its own right, the camper conversion on this, I believe, includes a Maggiolina Airland permanently grafted to the roof, so it pops up like a Westy pop-top. Neato.
