What size are your fuel tanks and what mileage are you seeing? Our GXV Kenworth has 200 gal of fuel and we average 9-9.5 mpg at a weight of around 27,000 lb. Nice to be able to fill the tanks when you find low prices on fuel and when you are heading into high fuel price territory. We fill up in...
They made at least one running change on the 2023 model currently in production, moving the Balmar alternator controller from under the hood into the internal battery box.
James (FitRV) always makes major upgrades to his RV including their Travato they had before getting the EKKO. Looking at the upgrades he has done to the EKKO it doesn’t look like many of the major ones would make sense for WGO to implement and keep the EKKO competitively priced. The current EKKO...
If don’t have a big issue with the propane in the EKKO given that they went with two standard refillable propane tanks rather than a fixed propane tank. I would swap out the propane cooktop for induction and be happy with the two Truma propane units that seem to be high quality. I would go with...
I pretty much agree with your analysis. The AeonRV definitely is a higher quality build in terms of assembly and components, and has much better insulation with the Total Composite panels. But for me the floor plan in the EKKO is worth it by giving up those advantages. The entry way bath in the...
There has only been one delivery to a customer so far. That customer is on the Facebook group “AEONrv Owners and Explorers” and has started sharing his experience. You might be able to get some real world info there…
Not sure why they put low end appliances in a million dollar truck, True Induction cooktops are not really something to put in a million dollar truck. Also surprised by the 100 gallon fuel tank. Okay for the normal use of these trucks but for long journeys we find that the 200 gallons of fuel we...
I noticed that they are using the Goodyear G275 not the G278 we have on our Kenworth trucks. They are at a lower GVWR, 23,500 lb, so they can use the G275.
The market must be good enough at the higher end to keep their production capacity full with higher profit on each vehicle. Why go down market in that scenario?
It is a MAN 6x6 chassis with camper box probably shipped over from Europe but I don’t see a country code on the license plate. Also don’t see a manufacturer logo on the box. Someone may recognize the box manufacturer.
GXV selling through RV Dealers? Not very likely. Each one is custom designed and built to the buyers specification. Money up front to pay for the chassis and scheduled payments during the build.
