The Documentary, “A Hundred Words for Wind” Debuted in December 2025

A Hundred Words for Wind is a documentary film by professional skier Cody Cirillo and adventure journalist Matthew Tufts that follows a 1,700-kilometer, 35-day human-powered cycle-to-ski journey around Iceland. Traveling by bicycle and skis, the pair navigate extreme weather, remote roads, and narrow alpine couloirs (pronounced “koo-lwar”, which is a steep, narrow gully or fissure on a mountain) while seeking ski descents that run from high peaks to the sea. Shot largely by the filmmakers themselves, the film explores Iceland’s wind culture, the realities of slow travel, and the balance between endurance, partnership, and environmental awareness. It presents a grounded portrait of persistence shaped by place, weather, and restraint.

Tech Forward with the Aegis Rider Vision Helmet

The Aegis Rider Vision Helmet steps beyond standard HUDs in other helmets. It lets the rider see speed, alerts, navigation, and other key data at a glance. With a binocular µOLED projector and AR glass system embedded in the helmet, the rider’s focus remains on the road. The helmet is wireless and customizable, relaying speed, RPM, trip metrics, and giving clear navigation arrows. Riders can also receive and manage calls, notifications, and music through the HUD. The Vision Helmet elevates riding with technology, but still honors the freedom of the ride, our concern is that the HUD might be distracting.
