Trying to locate good source for FJ80 misc parts

I'm helping out a cousin to fix his 96 FJ80. The sun roof switch and relay seemed to go bad and would like to fix them. Where can I find these type of parts other than the stealership b/c they wanted over 5 bills for just the relay. Any help appreciated!

Route Huasteca to El Salto in NL, Mexico

Thanks! THX and see this thread here: http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=37011 First off, never ever think of taking a fire arm down there and clean your vehicle from any bullets or empty casings rolling around in the cab or bed. Gun laws are very strict down there. Other...

    Lower control arm bushings

Buying the LCA new with bushings might not be a bad idea but if you are handy with tools and don't mind wrenching for a couple of hours, installing the energy suspension bushings is the way to go. I use Teflon grease to eliminate the squeaking and increase life; has worked great. To remove...

Route Huasteca to El Salto in NL, Mexico

We didn't take any many pictures on the time along the route b/c my compadre :sombrero: and myself were too excited to hit the trail and forgot the cameras. DOH! No sweat b/c we already had plans to rent a cabin in Cienega de Gonzalez (to spend NEW Year's Eve) which is right on the end/start of...

'02 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab 4wd w/260,000 miles - all records - scary or worth look?

I would be more concerned about the trany. Regardless of proper maintenance on the drive-train, everything has a lifespan. Solenoids might go bad, valves might start to stick or wear, torque converter clutches might reach their lifespan. The engine is easy to check but the trany, well you need...

Route Huasteca to El Salto in NL, Mexico

New around here and I would like to share my most recent completed routes over the holidays. Just before Christmas I reserved a day to get out of town with my compadre :sombrero: for a short ride through a canyon of "La Sierra Madre" near Monterrey Nuevo Leon. I promised him a route before he...

Route "La Olla" in Coahuila Mexico

New around here and I would like to share my most recent completed routes over the holidays. I was invited to join a local 4x4 club on a short route through some mountain ranges. To our surprise half way up the mountain, we ran into snow and ice on the trail which made the ride a whole lot...
