    LiFePo packs in unusual shapes?

Will Prowse on YouTube is a great DIY source, among others. There’s also some thin lithium batteries out there. I think your goal is achievable, good luck.

Anyone have a fridge inside the truck cab with them?

Depending on the year, Dometic makes/made a fridge that was also a center arm rest for the F150.

Looks good. Do you have any experience using these outside?

    Clean/neat Exterior Cable Management

That might work. With the roof being a pop up, those first edge pieces of VHB will see some movement from the cable when the roof goes up & down and also from wind. Do you think VHB will hold that? I do have some of the “good” VHB (5952) around…

    Clean/neat Exterior Cable Management

Does anyone have any ideas for an attractive short exterior run of cable? I am mounting solar panels to the top of my pop up trailer roof (Mission Overland Summit) and I need to route the wires to the forward tongue box, where the solar charge controller and battery are. I don't believe routing...

How to build your own DIY Carbon Fiber/Foam Panels for ya trailer

Keep in mind that those tubes of thickened epoxy require a caulking gun that has more pumping leverage than the common hardware store caulking gun (18:1 vs 12:1). It’s thick stuff and the mixing tip provides a lot of resistance!

How to build your own DIY Carbon Fiber/Foam Panels for ya trailer

Yeah… once you start mixing in pigments, the handy tube loses a bit of its convenience. I’ve used white pigment before in traditional non-thickened epoxy, a little goes a long way, but I noticed that the epoxy was a bit thinner and liked to flow/drip a little more. Did you find that to be the...

How to build your own DIY Carbon Fiber/Foam Panels for ya trailer

If you happen to be around marine shops or just need this stuff in a convenient caulk tube form, look into West Systems’ Six10 or Total Boat’s Thixo. They are not black though…

    Off road lights

I think if you call Baja Designs and/or KC that knowledgeable people answer the phone and can answer your questions. I’m pretty sure I’ve called both in the past.

How to build your own DIY Carbon Fiber/Foam Panels for ya trailer

Makes sense. With the melamine sheets, top and bottom, and the basic/flatness of the part, it’s easy to get even pressure during the cure. I’m looking forward to having to time to watch your vid. “A video’s worth a thousand pictures.” 😁

How to build your own DIY Carbon Fiber/Foam Panels for ya trailer

Looks great! I hope you can do a little destructive testing of your scraps, I’d love to see where the layup fails. Why not bag it?

Lipo charging setup for the bed of my truck

My Tacoma (w/ tow package) puts out less than 5A to my trailer through the 7 pin connector. When I added a 30A DCDC charger and house battery to the truck bed, I ran 2AWG wires from the starting battery.

    The Dometic CFX3 Mega Thread

This thread brings out everyone who has had problems. I’ve have a CFX3 35 for years with zero issues (it’s also for sale). The weight/size, efficiency, and noise were big factors when choosing the Dometic over other options. I also have a Truma 69L that seems heavier and noisier (for its size)...
