Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

Thanks for reminding me that i need to get around to repairing my usb plugs up there. i dont know how my wife does it or did it. But inside of the usb portion broke on her side. My side I've always had issues with it being too loose. I like the extension idea. I really need to focus on these...

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

Anyone use these for the canopy doors? Electronic lock actuators that work with the Industrilias 2-398 Compression lock handles used on the alucab? Pictures for reference and link below. Also, could consider just getting actual pin actuators and having brackets made. Dont think it would be that...

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

Just saw this myself right after I installed the table kit after looking at how they did it at AVO. On their build (truck shop) though they did install the holding bracket backwards. I did install it very similarly but my spacers placed bracket right above the cross supports. .

With the goose gear top loading cabinets installed we where able to install the Dometic CFX3 95DZ fridge freezer combo with protective cover. Note: we did have to remove handles to ensure it dit properly. But you will need something to be able to move the fridge. So we macramed handles out if...

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

Sorry for the delay. Just got home from Overland Expo right before dinner. It’s a half rack of their Alpha full rack. We are working on making some extra accessories and better coverage for the fairing. Accessories like being able to carry a few waivan cans up there, firewood etc. Removal is not...

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

For those with Gladiator I’ve worked with UpTop overland on a solution. Some minor tweaks are needed on the fairing but I think we have it down pat. No issues with clearance with my Zarges cases either. Ability to also remove to use freedom tops without a big ordeal. Modular in setup. IE can get...

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

I’ve used the past week at near 10k without any issues. The only issue I have with the Dickenson having used webasto diesel/gas and a hydronic system before is the lack of a thermostatic control. I also feel that the fan in the unit to be lacking. I have used a scirocco fan near the unit to...

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

On my diesel gladiator this past week I just removed the fuel restrictor to allow high flow diesel pumps (ie truck stop pumps). Now done these style fillers would work perfectly. Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

Meant to say JCR won’t sell you just half a rack. I spoke with him a bit ago about this as he doesn’t recommend using just half a rack. There have been others like rin who have modified what I believe to be a front runner rack to work with their alucab. But no other straight fits like the...

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

I’ll look into this, might be our only option in the end. I’d prefer easier access and of course always worried about overall height of the vehicle. Im racking my brain and just can decide. For the rotopax what where your issues previously, just leaking? You mentioned replacing caps, if so what...

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

I would speak with them. But it is based off of their alpha rack but only the front portion. I am having it installed next week and will put up pictures probably some video too on my social media accounts. We are also have some Baja Designs xl Link lights installed with the rack. Should work...

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

Looking for some type of ideas to help store extra diesel. Since the long range tanks are still pending and will most likely stay that way for a good bit for the gladiator. We are considering mounting a rotopax unit to the rear door next to our DMOS mount. Our maxtrax are mounted on the...

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

My solution for the rear view mirror. Brandmotion GVWR-8886. I can post up some video if anyone would like. Love the thing. Works well all around. Plus has a front camera as well, and a park feature when left in a parking lot. IE the unit acts like a dash cam as well. It totally replaces the...
