I like the idea of a deck/balcony. For years I've thought about putting an LOD sliding roof rack over a roof top tent so it can be a balcony when the tent is open.

Years ago when I first looked into a RTT, I inspected the AutoHome line a lot. I imagined making a hole in the roof of my car and bottom of the tent so I can crawl up into it. Then word of the JK Habitat came and I loved how seamlessly it fit together with inside entry. I hate a bulky roof...

After reading through a thousand posts and dreaming for years about the JK Habitat, this news is such a sad ending. It was for the JK Habitat that I ever even considered the JK. Hopefully it is not an ending but the story will be continued.
