I finally found one (free!) from an Econoline conversion van. I'll work on the installation once I get it cleaned. The floor mounts look very week compared to the large structural mounts my current seat has. It appears to bolt to the floor using a couple small bolts. Is this normal?

I've seen telescoping fishing rods for cheap in 10' lengths. Do they lock in an extended position? Do they have any column strength?

I was thinking I'd have a second tarp pinned to the ground instead of guy wires. I can usually use the extra shade anyway and I'd pin it to the outer rod of the awning.

How has the EMT conduit held up over the last 4 years? I looked it up on McMaster-Carr and found stainless EMT but it's not cheap. Plain steel on the other hand is cheap.

I have some KC Daylighters on the roof of my van and I'm trying to figure out how to route the wires to the battery and cabin switches. I do not want to drill in the roof, but I really don't know a decent way to get the wires through in a neat manner. What would you guys suggest?
