    Hodakaguy's 4x4 Sprinter Build

Tom, just did the wet wiper upgrade to my NCV3. Very excited to have washer fluid spray evenly onto the windscreen v spraying every direction except onto the windscreen. As always, thank you for doing all this, documenting it and posting it up here so we can be inspired. Side notes: I am...

Who makes a hardside camper with inner garage capable of storing two bicycles?

Bison overland has created a really cool pop top garage based camper that can hold two bikes. They are also working on hard side truck campers, so I think the garage and hard side camper is the next logical step. It is so interesting to me how many people have these really cool campers and they...

Which ambulance has the most interior space? Kodiak vs E-450s

This might also be stuff you already know and it doesn't answer your question, but there are low interior roof ambulances and high interior roof ones. the low roofs are like 5'4" interior after a build and the high roof ones are over 6', so I imagine that might play a role in your choice also?

    1986 GMC S-15

Rad trip pics! Nitnat Lake doesn't usually fire for wind until summer time. When the wind is on, you can't even find a spot there. You guys def went at the right time (unless you were there for wind activities, haha)

    New van, new adventures

Baja 2022 Pt2 We ended up driving all the way down to the intersection of Hwy 5 and Hwy 1. Surprisingly, it was raining and super windy down there. We stopped at the little restaurant there, had a hot chocolate and headed back north on Hwy 5. We spent the night at Rancho Grande and I think...

    New van, new adventures

Baja 2022 Pt 1 We had planned to do a Christmas jaunt down to Baja, but the annual snow-pocalyse hit the day we planned to leave. With little desire to become a fixture on I5 somewhere between Seattle and northern California, the trip was postponed to a nicer weather week. That week happened...

    Expovans Transit 4x4 Conversions

    FOUND Vans For Sale!

Right? looks like that thing has been on there since '03. maybe even throw a rag at it? based on the amount of errors in the description, they don't really care seems like. According to the video below, Swamps Diesel in Tennesee did a full refurbishing. Ujoint actually said it dynoed at...

    SOLD

Not to sully up this unfortunate thread, but if I were you, I would just go straight to UJoint for your conversion. They have opened a shop in Colorado so you don't have to drive all the way to NC anymore. Don't bother going anywhere else IMO. Also to the OP, this is such a bummer! I would...

Removing electric jacks for off road?

oh, here are some Deutsh bulkead connectors. they look spendy, but maybe something like that would be a good idea, so you don't have cords dangling around. https://racewiresolutions.mysimplestore.com/products/deutsch-bulkhead-panel-connectors

Removing electric jacks for off road?

This might be a weird answer, but what about just flipping the jacks over so they stick up instead of down? also, for electrical quick disconnects, I recommend Deutsch connectors. nice and waterproof and super easy to connect and disconnect.

    F550 or Ram 5500 or ???

I disagree with these two comments. If you were buying a pre-emissions diesel, I would say these comments are correct, but the new diesels with all the emissions stuff etc etc, I don't think they are worth the cost or hassle anymore. Longevity is reduced via the emissions stuff and the added...
